We want to hear concerns. Here is how to raise them.

Preascent is a small organisation built on trust — with clients, with partners, and internally. When something does not feel right, we want people to say so. This policy exists to make that easy, and to ensure that anyone who speaks up is protected from retaliation.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to concerns about behaviour that is illegal, unethical, unsafe, or contrary to Preascent's Code of Conduct. It covers concerns raised by employees, contractors, partners, or clients. Examples include: fraud or financial irregularity, breaches of client confidentiality, discrimination or harassment, conflicts of interest that have not been declared, and violations of applicable law.

How to raise a concern

Concerns can be raised directly with Preascent leadership by email at hello@preascent.com. If the concern relates to leadership directly, it can be raised with any member of the founding team. All concerns raised under this policy will be treated in confidence. The identity of the person raising the concern will not be disclosed without their consent, except where required by law.

No one will face negative consequences for raising a concern in good faith.

What happens next

All concerns received under this policy will be acknowledged within two business days. They will be reviewed promptly and impartially. Where an investigation is warranted, it will be conducted confidentially and proportionately. The person who raised the concern will be informed of the outcome to the extent that confidentiality permits.

Protection from retaliation

Preascent will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith under this policy. This applies to dismissal, demotion, exclusion, or any other adverse treatment. Any retaliation will itself be treated as a serious breach of this policy.
